Description
Overview
21-A6L, 21-A6H and 21B-A4G are carbon paper gas diffusion layer (GDL) materials designed for PEM fuel cells, water electrolyzers and related hydrogen energy systems. Belonging to the same 215 µm carbon paper family, these grades offer controlled porosity, hydrophobic PTFE-treated structure and reliable conductivity for gas transport and stack integration. Within this series, 21-A6L and 21-A6H provide balanced mechanical strength and permeability, while 21B-A4G offers lower electrical resistance for applications requiring enhanced conductive performance.
Key Features
- 215 µm carbon paper GDL for PEM fuel cells and water electrolyzers
- Available in three grades: 21-A6L, 21-A6H and 21B-A4G
- Hydrophobic PTFE-treated structure with high contact angle
- Controlled MPL and fiber surface roughness for component matching
- Porosity of ≥ 70% across the series
- Low electrical resistance, down to < 10 mΩ·cm²
- Suitable for laboratory testing, pilot-scale evaluation and industrial hydrogen applications
