Description
Overview
SIGRACET® 28 BC and 36 BB are carbon paper gas diffusion layers (GDLs) with microporous layer (MPL), designed for PEM fuel cells and related electrochemical applications. Acting as functional interfaces within the membrane electrode assembly, they support gas transport, water management, heat dissipation and electrical conductivity. Belonging to the same SIGRACET® low / medium porosity platform, 28 BC has a typical thickness of 235 µm and 36 BB has a typical thickness of 280 µm. Both grades are widely used in fuel cell development and are suitable for laboratory evaluation, stack integration, pilot-scale validation and industrial hydrogen energy systems.
Key Features
- Carbon paper gas diffusion layer with microporous layer (MPL)
- Low / medium porosity platform for balanced transport and compression behavior
- Reliable gas transport, water management and electrical conductivity
- Low area-specific resistance for efficient cell performance
- Suitable for PEM fuel cells and related electrochemical systems
- Available in two grades for different stack and operating requirements
