Description
Overview
Nafion™ N115 and N117 are industry-standard, non-reinforced extrusion-cast PFSA proton exchange membranes used in PEM fuel cells and water electrolyzers. Acting as solid electrolytes and separators, they provide efficient proton conductivity while limiting reactant gas crossover. Belonging to the same membrane family, N115 has a typical thickness of 127 µm and N117 has a typical thickness of 183 µm. Both grades are widely used in hydrogen energy systems and are recognized for their chemical stability, durability and suitability for research, pilot-scale and industrial applications.
