Overview
Nafion™ NR-212 Proton Exchange Membrane is a non-reinforced PFSA proton exchange membrane designed for high-performance PEM fuel cells, PEM water electrolyzers and electrochemical hydrogen systems. With a nominal thickness of 50.8 μm, NR-212 provides high proton conductivity, reduced gas crossover and reliable electrochemical performance in demanding hydrogen energy applications.
Manufactured using chemically stabilized PFSA polymer technology, NR-212 offers excellent chemical resistance, dimensional stability and long-term durability. Its thicker membrane structure provides an effective balance between proton transport, mechanical robustness and gas barrier performance, making it suitable for membrane electrode assembly (MEA) fabrication and electrochemical systems requiring greater membrane strength and reduced crossover.
